Taoyuan Street, belonging to Zhongshan District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Zhongshan District, adjacent to Laohutan street in the East, Huanghai street in the south, Bayi Road Street in Xigang District in the West and kuiying street in the north, with a total area of 12.24 square kilometers.
During the reign of tsarist Russia, it belonged to dalingqian village in tiger beach area. During the reign of the Japanese aggressors, there were Tiger Beach society and Lingqian society. In July 1946, Lingqian District merged 24 blocks into 14 blocks including Taoyuan. In November 1953, Taoyuan and other five streets were built, belonging to Lingqian district. In September 1959, Lingqian district was abolished and Taoyuan Street was classified as Zhongshan District. At the end of 2011, Taoyuan Street had a total population of 65000. As of June 2020, Taoyuan Street has jurisdiction over 9 communities and the office is located at No. 23 Taoyuan Street.
