Liushu town
Liushu town belongs to Xixiang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Xixiang County, adjacent to Yanghe town in the East, Xiakou Zuoxi in the south, Xiakou town in the West and Shahe Town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 12 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 11 kilometers, with a total area of 99.44 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
It is said that in the Qing Dynasty, there were two big willows by the local river. A farmer set up a shop under the willow, so it was named liushudian.
In 1950, Liushu township was established.
In 1959, it was the willow management area.
In 1965, willow commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to township.
In 1996, Liushu Township and Fengdong Township merged to establish Liushu town.
