Jile Township, belonging to Meihekou City, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Meihekou City, bordering Ankou Town, Liuhe County in the southeast, Xiaoyang Manchu Korean Township in the southwest, West and North, Shancheng town in the north and Shuidao town in the northeast. It is 44 kilometers away from Meihekou City, with a total area of 93.63 square kilometers.
In the early years of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, there was Haisheng community in Jile township; in December 1983, it was changed from Jile commune to Jile township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in jiile township was 9300. As of June 2020, Jile village has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Jile village.

History of construction
In the early years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, Haisheng society was established.
In 1913, it was named Dahuanggou, belonging to the third Police District of Hailong county. In 1923, it belonged to ten districts. In 1940, Jile village was established. In May 1947, it was changed into Jile district and was stationed in xiaoyangshuhezi village.
In 1956, it was changed to Jile township.
In September 1958, Jile township was transformed into upstream commune.
In April 1961, the upstream commune was renamed Jile commune.
In December 1983, Jile commune was changed into Jile township.

In 2011, Jile rural governs 10 administrative villages, including Jile, Jiqing, Ji'an, xiaojile, Jixiang, Jihong, Fuxing, Jixing, tiaoshengou and Wolong, with 44 villager groups.
