Shancheng Town, belonging to Meihekou City, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Meihekou city. It borders Heishantou town in the East, Xiaoyang Township in the south, CaoShi town in Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province in the west, hengdaohe town in Dongfeng County in the north, and is 25 kilometers away from Meihekou city. History of construction

In 1913, Shancheng town was established. On May 24, 1946, the 60th army of Kuomintang occupied Shancheng town and Meihekou. On May 13, 1947, the Northeast Democratic Alliance Army liberated Shancheng town for the second time and established Shancheng Town People's government. In April 1949, it was transferred to Liaodong province.
In December 1954, it was withdrawn from Hailong District of Liaodong province.
In 1956, it was one of the three towns in Hailong county.
In 1958, it belonged to rocket commune.
