Jiangdong town
Jiangdong town is under the jurisdiction of Tianzhu County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is located in the east of Tianzhu County, 33 kilometers away from the county. It borders Puwen Township and Mobin Township in Huitong County, Hunan Province in the East, Baishi town in the South and West, and Wengdong town in the North. It has a subtropical monsoon climate. Phyllostachys pubescens and Camellia oleifera are its characteristic industries.
History of construction
In the early Ming Dynasty, Jiangdong inspection department was set up, belonging to the second map of Anle township. The Qing Dynasty belongs to ertuli. In 1914, it belonged to the second district. Twenty nine years (1940) for Jiangdong joint protection. Thirty one years (1942) belong to Andong township. In 1944, it belonged to Baishi township. After liberation, Jiangdong township was established in 1953. (including xiaolanxi and Jinji). In 1958, it was the Jiangdong, Jinji and Lanxi administrative areas of Baishi commune. Jiangdong commune, Jinji commune and Lanxi commune were established in 1961. It was incorporated into Baishi commune in 1969. In 1970, Jiangdong commune, Jinji commune and Lanxi commune were restored. In 1984, it was changed into a township and a township people's government was set up. In 1992, the three townships were merged into Jiangdong Township, and the Township People's government was set up in Jiangdong village. on January 14, 2016, the people's Government of Guizhou Province (QFH [2016] No. 24) approved the removal of Jiangdong Township from the county and the establishment of Jiangdong town.

geographical environment
Jiangdong town has a mid subtropical monsoon climate. It is warm and humid with four distinct seasons. It has less winter and sufficient heat. The annual average temperature is 17 ℃ - 24 ℃, the annual rainfall is 1150-1425mm, and the frost free period is 288-325 days. The territory is mountainous in the East, and faces Qingshui River in the south, West and North. It is a high mountain and deep gorge landform with an altitude of 255 meters. The soil layer is fertile and the mountains fluctuate greatly. Phyllostachys pubescens and Camellia oleifera are characteristic industries of Jiangdong town. There are 4500 mu of Nanzhu and 8000 mu of Camellia oleifera in the town. The bamboo wares produced are sold to Huaihua, Jingxian, Huitong, Zhijiang, Sansui, Jianhe and Jinping in Hunan Province. Camellia oleifera is a natural health oil, which can cure diseases, protect skin and beautify. Jiangdong town is rich in mineral resources. It has proven six kinds of gold, coal, heavy gold and stone. It is especially famous for its large gold reserves. According to the detection, it has reached 0.7 tons, which is known as "ton gold town".
