Adduo Township
Adduo township is subordinate to Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is located in the middle of Zaduo County, adjacent to angsai Township and sahutang town in the East, jieduo Township in the south, chadan Township and Moyun Township in the West and northwest, Zhaqing Township in the north, 55 kilometers away from the county government, with a total administrative area of 3196.77 square kilometers.
Before the founding of new China, Adou township was under the jurisdiction of Ba tribe and Geji tribe, one of the 25 Yushu ethnic groups in Nangqian. In April 1984, Adou commune was changed into Adou township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Addo township was 8762. In 2019, Addo rural governs 2 communities and 4 administrative villages, and the people's government is located in sabekado.
Arduo Township belongs to pure animal husbandry township. Cordyceps has become the main source of income for local herdsmen, and animal husbandry mainly focuses on raising cattle, sheep and horses.
History of construction
Before the founding of new China, it was under the jurisdiction of Ba tribe and Geji tribe, one of the 25 Yushu tribes under Nangqian's 1000 families.
In 1955, adoshog was founded.
In 1958, it was changed into a duo commune.
In April 1984, Adou commune was changed into Adou township.

In 2011, Aduo village governs 4 administrative villages, including puke, Jinai, wahe and Duojia, with 12 villager groups.
In 2019, Aduo village governs two communities, namely, the North Community and the South Community of jinaitan City, and four administrative villages, namely, Duojia village, Jinai village, wahe village and puke village. The people's government is stationed in shabekado.

Adduo township is located in the upper reaches of aqu River and Zhaqu River to the east of the south source of the Yangtze River. There are many high mountains in adduo township. There are 44 peaks dominated by Qianguan mountain, with an average sea area of 5000 meters. High mountains account for 60% of the total area.

Arduo township has a continental plateau climate. Affected by the geographical environment, the climate is cold throughout the year. There are no four seasons. Only the warm season when the average temperature is higher than 0 ℃ and the cold season when the average temperature is lower than 0 ℃. The annual average temperature is 0.5 ℃, the annual average precipitation is 538.8 mm, the annual average evaporation is 1450.0 mm, and the annual average sunshine hours is 2310.3 hours. The climate is changeable all the year round, with frost and snow all the year round Continuous, abundant precipitation in warm season, no heat, cold season precipitation is rare, cold and windy.

The main rivers in adduo township are aqu River and its tributary, kekongyongqu River, which flows through the north of the township and converges with Zhaqu river.

The mineral resources in adduo Township include coal, alkali and saffron salt. The annual output of saffron salt in the salt pond of wahe village is nearly 100 tons, and its quality can reach the edible standard. It has been eaten by local herdsmen and the people in neighboring Tibet for hundreds of years. Adduo township is rich in animal and plant resources. There are dozens of wild animals, such as red deer, Milu, snow leopard, red bear, lynx, blue sheep, yellow sheep, snow pheasant, wolf and so on. The main plant resources are nettle, gentian, snow lotus, Anemarrhena asphodeloides and Cordyceps sinensis.

"Addo" in Addo Township means "upstream of aqu River" in Tibetan. Addo is the birthplace of aqu River, a tributary of Zaqu river.
