Xiangshui town belongs to Hengshan District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the north by east of Hengshan District, adjacent to dangcha town in the East, Wu town and hancha town in the south, BOLUO town in the West and Baijie Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 20.25 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 22 kilometers, with a total area of 281.40 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Xiangshui town has 19 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiangshui town was 29391. Historical evolution
It is said that there is a natural three hole bridge here. Water comes out of the hole and makes a sound like thunder, so it is named Xiangshui.
Ming is Yulin Weixiang water fort.
The Qing Dynasty belonged to Xiangshuibao, Huaiyuan County, Yulin Prefecture.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Xiangshuibao, Hengshan County, Yulin Prefecture.
In 1914, Huaiyuan County was renamed Hengshan County, which belongs to Hengshan County.
In 1950, Xiangshui district was set up in Hengshan County.
In November 1958, Xiangshui commune was established, with 14 production teams and 58 production teams under its jurisdiction; in December of the same year, it was incorporated into Yulin County along with the county.
