Gantian town
Gantian Town, belonging to Leye County, Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Leye County, with Xinhua Town in the East, Yuhong Township in Lingyun county and LANGPING Township in Tianlin County in the south, Luosha Township in the West and Tongle town in the north. The area is 154.66 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 17635 households registered residence in Gan Tian town.
Because of the barren land, many mountains and low water in gantian Town, it originally means "Gan Tian" and was called "Gan Tian" in Ya Dynasty. In 1952, it was transferred to eight districts of Lingle county. In 1958, Gan Tian district was set up, belonging to Lingle county. In 1962, gantian commune was established, belonging to Leye County. In 1984, it was changed to gantian town. In July 2020, gantian town was named as the National Health township of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Association. As of June 2020, gantian town has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in Sihe village.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in gantian Town, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with an operating area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Lingyun county.
In 1933, gantian township was established, belonging to Lingyun county. The next year, it was assigned to Leye County.
In 1952, it was transferred to eight districts of Lingle county.
In 1958, Gan Tian district was set up, belonging to Lingle county.
In 1962, gantian commune was established, belonging to Leye County.
In 1984, gantian commune was changed into gantian town.

In 1989, six village offices and 40 village committees were set up in gantian town.
In 2005, two administrative villages, Banhong and Baile, originally belonging to Wucheng Township, were included.
By the end of 2011, gantian town had eight villagers' committees, namely Xiafu, Sihe, Dadao, Jiudong, Jialong, Daping, Baile and Banhong.
As of June 2020, gantian town has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages: Xiafu village, Sihe village, Dadao village, Jiudong village, Jialong village, Daping village, Baile village and Banhong village. The town people's government is located in Sihe village.
