Xinxing Township

Xinxing Township, belonging to Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Yitong Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Lu Township, Shuangyang District, Changchun City in the East, Yidan town in the south, Leshan town, Changchun City in the west, Danan Town, Nanguan District, Changchun City in the northwest and Yitong town in the north. The area is 65.05 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 13565 people in Xinxiang had registered residence.

In 1949, it belongs to Yushu District of Yitong county. In August 1956, Xinxing commune was established. In 1958, it was incorporated into the Yidan commune. In 1961, Xinxing township was established. As of June 2020, Xinxing countryside has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.
