Shuanghe Township
Shuanghe Township, belonging to Lishu County, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Lishu County. It faces chaoyangpo town and Dayushu town of Gongzhuling City across the Dongliao River in the East, Donghe town and Wanfa town in the south, Jinshan Township in the West and Xiaochengzi town in the north. The area is 117.66 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 24822 people registered residence in Shuanghe township.
In 1961, Sanhe commune was established. In 1981, it was renamed Shuanghe commune. In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. As of June 2020, Shuanghe township has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, Shuanghe Township had 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
It used to be the banner land of Mongolian king.
In the Republic of China, it belonged to Dayushu village; later, it belonged to Renli village.
In 1948, it belonged to five districts of Xiaochengzi, including seven villages such as sanhebao.
In 1958, it belonged to Xiaochengzi commune.
In 1961, Sanhe commune was established.
In 1981, it was renamed Shuanghe commune.
In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.

The town people's government is stationed in shuxiatun.
