Baoshan Township, belonging to Panshi City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Panshi City, bordering on Panshi economic and Technological Development Zone and niuxin town in the East, Huinan County in the south, niuxindingzi town and Xinghua town of Meihekou city across Liangzi River in the west, Chaoyang town and Fu'an street in the North, 6.1km away from Panshi City, with a total area of 241.75km2.
In 1898, Baoshan Village was set up. In December 1983, Baoshan commune was changed into Baoshan Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Baoshan Township was 28009. As of June 2020, Baoshan Township has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Baoshan Village.
The main food crops in Baoshan Township are corn and rice; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle and poultry. History of construction
In 1898, Baoshan Village was established.
In 1914, it was a police district and changed to Baoshan Village. In 1945, it belonged to Xilin district. In January 1949, it belonged to eight districts (Taiping District).
In September 1958, Baoshan Village was transformed into Baoshan commune.
In December 1983, Baoshan commune was changed into Baoshan Township.
