Yikewulan Township
Yikewulan Township, belonging to Gangcha County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the middle of Gangcha County, adjacent to Shaliuhe town in the East, Qinghai Lake in the south, Quanji Township in the west, and mule River in the north, 4km away from the county. The area is 1930.03 square kilometers. In 2018, 6186 people registered residence.
Before 1949, it belonged to Gangcha thousand households. In 1953, it belongs to Quanji district. In 1956, the township was established. In 1958, it merged with Shaliuhe River and was called ikulan people's commune. In 1961, it was still called commune after it was separated from Shaliu river. In 1984, the township system was established. As of October 2019, yikewulan township has one community and six administrative villages.

As of October 2019, yikewulan township has jurisdiction over one community of Qinghai Lake farm community and six administrative villages of gangchagongma, jiaoshikegongma, Yaxiu, shangmuduo, yagongma and jiaoshikexiuma.

Yikewulan township is located in the middle part of Datong mountain range of Qilian Mountains, which is high in the north and low in the south. In the north, there are more than 4000 meters of overlapping mountains, crisscross valleys, bare mountains, sparse vegetation and marshes. In the middle, there are undulating hills, gullies and complex terrain. In the south, there is a lakeside plain, with a flat terrain and an average altitude of 3300 meters.
