History of Qinghua
In 1935, Hechuan adjusted the administrative division, set up Qinghe Township, and the township governed Qinghe field. In 1938, Yuechi adjusted its administrative division and set up Huaying Township, which is also called Guanyinchang. In 1950, Qinghua was under the jurisdiction of Yuechi and Hechuan respectively, with Huaying River as the boundary, Yuechi in the East and Hechuan in the west, connected by an old stone arch bridge. In 1952, Hechuan and Yuechi adjusted their districts and analyzed Qinghe Township under the jurisdiction of Yuechi County. In 1953, the administrative divisions of Huaying and Qinghe townships were adjusted and Qinghe township was changed into Xinhe township. In 1958, Qinghe township was moved to the Chuanzhu temple in sijiaobei village; in Yuechi County, guanshengchang in Huaying Township and qinghechang in Qinghe Township were newly established as Qinghua Town, named after Qinghe Township and Huaying township. In September 1992, Huaying City withdrew the township and merged the town. Qinghe Township merged with Qinghua Town, and Qinghua town was newly established.
