Tongjiang street, belonging to Changyi District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Changyi District, bordering Yanjiang street in the East, Yan'an street and Lianhua street in the south, Xinghua street in the West and Xinghua street in the north, with a total area of 3.5 square kilometers.
In August 1953, Tongjiang Street belonged to lianhuapao Street office; in August 1965, it was changed from lianhuapao Street office to Tongjiang street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Tongjiang street was 56358. In August 1965, lianhuapao Street office was changed into Tongjiang street.
In May 1979, Lianhua street was separated from Tongjiang street.
