Yan'an Street area east to Shengli East Road Hehuachi, West to Yan'an Road, South to Shengli Road, north to Beijing Shanghai railway line. It covers an area of 0.6 square kilometers and has a population of 14882 (2010).

Historical evolution
It used to be in the eastern urban area. It was Tielong commune in 1959, Yan'an Branch in 1961, and Yan'an sub district office in 1979. In August 1998, it was transferred from Dongshi district to Zhongshi district. In March 2004, Yan'an street in the former central city was put under the jurisdiction of Longzihu district.
Street profile
There are three community employment and social security workstations in the street. At present, there are 1630 retirees transferred to community enterprises, including 270 CPC members, 15 military cadres, 78 elderly people over 80 years old, 9 city model workers and 16 bedridden seriously ill people. All communities have set up self-management mutual aid groups for retirees, with full-time staff responsible for the management of social management services for retirees. Nine people have been assigned to the "silver hair Gang" in the streets, and now they are working in various communities. Each workstation set up a silver hair support group to arrange the work of the elderly assistants according to the needs. At present, there are two activity places for retirees, about 300 square meters, with reading room, chess room, mahjong room, table tennis room, etc. it is an outdoor activity place for retirees and another 200 square meters, and is equipped with 16 kinds of fitness equipment suitable for retirees to carry out activities. The comfortable and quiet environment for retired workers is not only a good place for retired workers to have entertainment, activities, fitness and friends, but also a platform for retired workers to "enjoy, learn and do for the elderly". It is also an important place for the construction of spiritual civilization in the community.
