Tiantai town is located in the northwest hinterland of Yuanzhou District, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. It is adjacent to "two cities, one county, five towns and two townships". It is in the center of a triangle with Yichun City, Pingxiang City and Shangli County. It is close to Changsha City and Liuyang City, Hunan Province.
