Yannan Street
Yannan street, belonging to Chengguan District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is adjacent to gongxingdun street, Weiyuan road street and Donggang street in the south, the Yellow River in the West and Yanbei street in the north. The total area of the area is 4.6 square kilometers, with a total population of 53230 in 2011.
Before 1949, the territory belonged to the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth districts of Lanzhou city. After 1949, it was divided into eight townships, nine townships and seven townships in the seventh district. In 1953, the districts were merged into townships, and the seventh district was changed into the third district. Yantan nine townships and eight townships were merged into the first Township Office, and liwutan was the second Township Office. In 1955, it belonged to Yantan Township and liwutan township of Donggang District. In March 1958, liwutan township was merged into Yantan township. In August 1958, Yantan Township and qingbaishi Township were merged to form Yantan commune. In December 1960, it was assigned to Chengguan District. In February 1983, Yantan township was changed. On December 21, 2004, Yannan and Yanbei streets were built. In June 2020, Yannan Street governs 11 communities and 4 administrative villages.

natural disaster
The biggest flood in Yannan Street occurred from September 6 to 16, 1981. The Yellow River and backwater rose sharply, which was equal to the newly built highway. It submerged 6292 mu of vegetable land and lost more than 10000 tons of vegetables, 213 mu of grain fields and 845 tons of grain, 25142 fruit trees and 695 tons of fruits. There were 1436 collective greenhouses, 244 storehouses, 51 horse sheds, 23 National cellars, 190 member houses and 887 houses collapsed.
