Xinzhuang Town, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Huining county. It is connected with guochengyi town in the East, touzhaizi town in the south, Yuzhong County in the West and Jingyuan County in the north, with a total administrative area of 323.3 square kilometers.

Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of guochengyi; in 1983, it was changed to Xinzhuang township. In 2016, Xinzhuang township was built from township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinzhuang Town was 13105. In June 2020, Xinzhuang Town governs 8 administrative villages.

History of construction

Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Guo Chengyi.

In 1953, Xinzhuang township was established under the jurisdiction of eight districts (Guocheng).

In 1958, it separated from Guocheng commune and established Xinzhuang commune.

In 1983, it was changed to Xinzhuang township.

In 2003, Ganquan village in yuanbian township was merged into Quanping village, which was under the jurisdiction of Xinzhuang Township, and chaijialiang village was merged into Sizhai village.

In 2016, Xinzhuang township was built from township.
