Shuangshu Township
Shuangshu Township, belonging to Longgang District, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Longgang District, bordering Liaodong Bay in the East, sijiatun street, Gucheng street and Chengdong street in Xingcheng city in the south, Lizi mountain in the West and Yuantaizi Manchu Township in Xingcheng city in the north, with an administrative area of 33.1 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Shuangshu Township belonged to the first district of Ningyuan state North Road; in 1983, it was changed to Shuangshu township; in March 2006, Shuangshu Township belonged to Longgang District. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Shuang Shu township was 11052. As of June 2020, Shuangshu township has jurisdiction over five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Shuangshu village.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Shuangshu township was 8300 yuan. In 2018, there were 28 industrial enterprises in Shuangshu Township, including one above scale and 52 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, Shuangshu Township belonged to the first district of Ningyuan North Road.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the eighth district.
During the Japanese puppet rule, it was divided into Xingcheng street and Baita village.
In 1946, it was Shuangshu township.
In 1948, it was liberated and belonged to four districts (Yuantaizi).
In 1956, it was established as Shuangshu township.
In 1958, it became Hanjiagou Township and later Xingcheng commune.
In 1961, fenyuantaizi commune added Shuangshu commune.
In 1983, Shuangshu township was changed.
In March 2006, Shuangshu township was assigned to Longgang District.
