Hongshan street is located in the northwest of Xigong District of Luoyang City, adjacent to Xin'an County in the west, Mengjin County in the north, the old city in the East and Jianxi District across the river in the south. It covers an area of 31.8 square kilometers and cultivated land of more than 16000 mu.

Evolution of organizational system

In 2012, the people's Government of Hongshan Township was changed to Hongshan sub district office according to the requirements of the higher authorities. In 2017, it was changed to the sub district office management system.
