Heqiao town belongs to Tongshan District of Xuzhou City. It is located at the junction of four counties in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. It is adjacent to Xiaoxian County in Anhui Province in the south, Fanlou in Fengxian County in the West and Jing'an town in Peixian County in the north. It is 35 kilometers away from Xuzhou City. The total area is 74 square kilometers (in 2017), with 4133 hectares of cultivated land and 0.08 hectares of cultivated land per capita.

It has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, 76 natural villages and 99 villager groups, with a population of 50500 (2017). Xufeng Road, peixiao road and Hanhe Road pass through the area, only 3km away from Xuji expressway.
