Yingge town
Yingge Town, belonging to Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east of Taibai County, adjacent to Yingtou township of Mei County in the East, huangbaiyuan town in the south, taochuan Town, caijiapo town of Qishan County and diaowei town of Chencang District in the west, Tangyu town of Mei County, caijiapo town of Qishan County and Fuxi town of Chencang District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14.4 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 46.8 km, covering a total area of 313 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Yingge town has 11 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population of parrot pigeon town was 9095. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Yingge town reached 97.985 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 150 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 110 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Formerly known as "liugezui", it gets its name because it is located in the sixth mountain mouth of Baoxie ancient road from xieguchi. Later, it was also known as "Yin gezui" because of its north facing south mountains, and later it was known as "yinggezui".
In the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to Wugong County.
In the Qin and Western Han Dynasties, it belonged to Guo county.
The Eastern Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms and the two Jin Dynasties belonged to Meixian.
The northern and Western Wei dynasties belonged to Zhouzhi County.
In Sui, Tang, song, Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Qishan County.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Liujia village, temple and ma'er mountain to the south of Shancha gorge, and cliff, mujiaping, chujiaping, Yuchiling, silinzhuang, xilongwo, yangjiahe, shuangluchi, miansiba and Gaotou to the west of Shitouhe River belong to Qishan County, and Meixian to Southeast yuan, Yingge street, jiligou, chaihushan, lianhuawan, Liangjiashan, wayaopo and huoshaotan.
In June 1949, Yingge District Office was established in Meixian County, which has jurisdiction over two townships, wayaopo and wuchaoyu. The office is located in Yingge street. In July of the same year, taochuan District Office was established in Qishan, with jurisdiction over lingdanmiao Township, Laoyeling Township, shayangdian Township, liujiacun Township, gaomatou Township and Longwo township.
In May 1950, Yingge district was merged into Qizhen District of Mei County.
In February 1953, wayaopo Township and WuChao Township were assigned to Taibai Central District, and taochuan District, the fourth district under its jurisdiction.
In March 1956, the former wayaopo Township and liujiacun Township were merged into Yingge township.
In March 1958, the district was withdrawn, and Yingge Township, gaodock Township and Longwo Township were directly under the management of Taibai district. In August, the township was withdrawn and a commune was set up. In December, it was renamed the production brigade of parrot pigeons.
In May 1959, it was renamed as parrot management area. On August 22, Yingge management area was renamed Yingge commune. It has jurisdiction over 14 production teams.
In September 1966, Yingge commune was renamed Dongfeng commune.
In 1970, the parrot dove commune was restored.
In 1984, the commune was changed into a township, with jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages.
In October 1997, the township was removed to build a town. It has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages.

In September 2005, chujiaping was merged into wayaopo village, mujiaping into yinggejie village and lianhuawan into chaihushan village, with jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.
On April 8, 2011, Gaolong township was removed and merged into Yingge town.
By the end of 2011, Yingge town had 18 administrative villages including Nanyuan, Liujia village, ma'er mountain, temple, Liushan cliff, Yingge street, jiligou, chaihushan, Liangjiashan, wayaopo, huoshaotan, Yuchiling, silinzhuang, xilongwo, yangjiahe, shuangluchi, miansiba and gaodock, and 61 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Yingge town has 11 administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in Yingge street.

Yingge town is located in the north slope of Taibai Mountain, the main peak of Qinling Mountains, and the four side depression zone of Qingfeng mountains. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north, high in the West and low in the East. Baxiantai, the main peak of Taibai Mountain, is located in the south of Zhouzhi border with an altitude of 3771.2 meters, which is the highest point in the county; huoshaotan village, the lowest point, is located in Shitouhe River on the north border with an altitude of 740 meters, which is also the lowest point in the County.

The main rivers are Shitou River, shanchaxia River, Jiangou River, etc. The largest river in the territory is Shitou River, which flows through the whole territory from Baiyun gorge to huoshaotan. The length of the river is 14 kilometers, the drainage area is 327.9 square kilometers, and the average annual flow is 13.7 cubic meters per second.
