There is a record about Lianhua Mountain in the annals of Nankang County in 1984: "Lianhua Mountain is named Wuqiaoling, where villagers built a village in the Southern Tang Dynasty, also known as Lianhua village. In Pingshi commune, 71 kilometers north of the county, there are rocks on the hillside, which can accommodate more than 100 people. There is a fairy bridge in front of the rock, a waterfall thousands of feet below the bridge, which flows down to the stone sinus, and the place names of chuanzhai, Longtan, baniling and so on in the north foot. " As early as the Southern Tang Dynasty, in order to avoid the war, the villagers built a mountain stronghold in the deep mountains, and their influence increased day by day. This mountain was called "Lotus stronghold". Later, the mountain stronghold was destroyed, and the villagers scattered around the Lotus Mountain.
In addition to the stone caves, the stone landscapes of Lianhua Mountain include Fengdong stone, Tianzhu stone, Tianmen, Shiyan frog, music spring, Turtle Rock and Muyu stone.
