Yupeng township is located in the northeast of Qingliu County, adjacent to Yong'an City and Mingxi County, 43 kilometers away from Qingliu Chengguan and 68 kilometers away from Yong'an City. Silver lead zinc

The mining area is located in Yupeng Township, with 2.5km highway connecting Qingliu Yupeng and Yupeng Yong'an, 45km away from Qingliu city and 69km away from Yong'an City. According to the preliminary survey, there are many ore bodies in the 0-34 line of the area, and the ore bodies outside the 34 line have the trend of southward extension. It is still in exploration and has a good prospect. In 1992, the county government invited the fifth unit of Minxi geological brigade to do geological work in the 0.36 square kilometer section of 2-6 line in the north of the mining area in the form of joint investment. The proved geological reserves are 103350 tons of lead and zinc (including 60800 tons of rich ore) and 213 tons of silver; the ore grade is Ag: 164.25 × 10-6, Pb: 1.65 × 10-2, Zn: 6.60 × 10-2, s: 13.67 × 10-2. In January 2001, Qingliu Hualong Mining Co., Ltd. invested in the mining of Renchang lead-zinc mine. At present, the mine has 367000 tons of ore reserves, including 81 tons of silver, 22000 tons of lead and 17000 tons of zinc. The mining and dressing production capacity reaches 60000 tons / year, with good economic benefits.

In August 1998, Cunwei lead-zinc mine in Qingliu County invested in the development of Cunwei lead-zinc mine. The proven ore reserves of the mine are 420700 tons, including 258 tons of silver, 3000 tons of lead and 11300 tons of zinc. The mining production capacity reaches 60000 tons / year.

fluorite

As one of the main minerals in Yupeng Township, the proven reserves include Dongkeng fluorite mine of Qingliu Dongying Chemical Co., Ltd., with a reserve of 400000 tons; Wenxi fluorite mine of Qingliu Xinying Mining Co., Ltd., with a reserve of 200000 tons; Chikeng fluorite mine of Qingliu Dongying Chemical Co., Ltd., with a reserve of 70000 tons; and Xinfa According to the pre survey by the Provincial Geological Survey Institute, the resource of fluorite ore in sizhouting fluorite mine in Qinxi is more than 200000 tons.

Yupeng township is one of the main mineral resources with huge limestone reserves. It is mainly distributed in yupengtai mountain, located on the main highway from Qingliu to Yong'an. The rock is tough, fine and greasy in texture, bright in color after polishing, strong in three-dimensional sense, without crystal cavity and pore, with unique style and good block.

In 1993, the Western Fujian Geological Brigade also proved that the potential reserve of the block material of huangnikeng potash feldspar granite in yupengtai mountain is 3 million cubic meters. The rock is in jujube red, glassy luster and porphyry structure. The phenocryst is potash feldspar, and its crystal grows into megacrysts with the grain size of 1-2cm. The phenocryst storage accounts for more than half of the total. Quartz is white, it is granular, inlaid in potassium feldspar, fracture is oil luster, hardness is 6-7.
