Chang'an Town
Chang'an Town, belonging to Jixi County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, is located in the northwest of Jixi County. It is adjacent to banqiaotou Township and Huayang town in the East, Shexian county and Linxi town in the south, Shangzhuang town and Jingde County in the West and North. The provincial highway 217 runs through the whole town from north to South and meets the county road, zhenshu line and Zhenshang line at the head of the town. The town people's government is located in zhentou village, 20 kilometers away from the county seat, which is an important transportation hub in Lingbei. Chang'an town has Hui dialect and Shepian Lingbei dialect.
In 2017, the administrative area was 12200 hectares, with a permanent population of 23521. In August 2020, it will be selected as Anhui summer resort in 2020.

In March 1992, Chang'an town was established by merging some villages of the former zhentou Township and the former Shangtian township; in October 2001, some villages of the former haozhai Township and Dayuan Township were merged into Chang'an town; in 2005, 10 villagers' committees and 60 villagers' groups were under the jurisdiction of zhentou, Dayuan, zhuangtuan, Madao, Dagu, Gaoyang, Tantou, Wuchuan, haozhai and xiawudu. There are many mountains in the territory. In the northwest, there are great assembly mountains, which belong to Huangshan Mountains; in the south, there are Huiling mountains, in the East and south, there are medium and low mountains, and in the middle, West and North, there are hills, basins and valleys. The water from the West and South flows into Dayuan River and Xin'an River; the water from the East and North flows into Huishui River and Qingyi River. The soil in the territory is mainly yellow red soil, and Tantou and Madao are rich in high-quality clay. There are 6727 hectares of mountain farms and 1958 hectares of cultivated land in the town, including 1336 hectares of paddy fields, 405 hectares of mulberry gardens and 70 hectares of tea gardens.

The agriculture in Chang'an town is mainly grain and oil, animal husbandry, sericulture, bamboo and wood, supplemented by other economic crops (Alpine watermelon, greenhouse mushroom, water bamboo, Chinese herbal medicine, etc.). There are state-owned zhentou forest farm and great assembly mountain forest farm. The breeding of Angora rabbit has developed rapidly with a stock of more than 60000. In 2005, it was awarded the title of "hometown of Angora rabbit" by Xuancheng City. There are 57 private enterprises in the territory, mainly engaged in machinery manufacturing, building materials, bamboo and wood processing, plush toys, wine making, small hydropower and so on. In 2005, there were three enterprises above the county level, including Mingyan machinery company, Xinhui toys company and Madao wood and bamboo products Co., Ltd. In 2005, the total output value of industry and agriculture in the town was 142 million yuan (12.5% higher than that in 2004), including 70 million yuan of agricultural output value and 3131 yuan of per capita income of farmers (8.9% higher than that in 2004).
The territory has beautiful environment, rich resources, superior ecology, many famous places and many Hui style buildings. The natural landscape includes Qingfeng, one of the ten scenic spots in Huayang, and Huangfeng, one of the seventy-two peaks in Huangshan. Feng Village of haozhai is one of the "top 100" ecological villages at the provincial level, which has been listed in the list of ancient villages by the province.
