Quantou town
Quantou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Changtu County, adjacent to Lianhua Town, Kaiyuan city in the East, Changtu town in the south, Taiping Town in the west, Shuangmiaozi town and XIAERTAI town in the north, with an administrative area of 140.64 square kilometers.
In 1902, Quantou village was built; in August 1984, Quantou town was changed; in May 1987, Quantou Manchu town was changed; in February 2002, Quantou town was renamed. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Quan tou town was 22100. As of June 2020, Quantou town has jurisdiction over one community, 10 administrative villages and one village level unit.

History of construction
In 1902, Quantou village was built.
In 1948, it was the eighth District of Changtu County.
In February 1956, the township was merged into the Fifth District of Changtu County and the Fourth District of Changtu County.
In January 1957, it belongs to Shuangmiaozi District of Changtu County.
In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was established, which belonged to Quantou Township and agriculture and Forestry Township respectively; in October of the same year, Dagong commune of Changtu County was established, which governed the agriculture and forestry of Quantou district and Quantou 2 management area.
In February 1959, it belonged to Shuangmiaozi commune.
In 1961, 67 natural villages were separated from Shuangmiaozi commune to build Quantou commune.
In November 1983, it was changed to Quantou township.
In August 1984, it was changed to Quantou town.
In May, 1987, it was changed to Quantou Manchu town.
In February 2002, it was renamed Quantou town.
