Hedong Township
Hedong Township, belonging to guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the Middle East of Guide county. It is adjacent to Jianzha County in the East, Changmu town in the south, Heyin town and Hexi Town in the west, and Garang Township across the river in the north. It is 2km away from Guide county and 110km away from Xining, the provincial capital, with a total administrative area of 275.05km2.
In 1961, Hedong, Gongba and Dongshan communes were established. In 1984, Hedong commune was changed into Hedong township. By the end of 2018, the population of Hedong Township registered residence was 17618. In 2019, Hedong countryside governs one community and 15 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed at the junction of Zhoujia village and majiaxi village.
In 2018, Hedong Township had 2 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1961, Hedong, Gongba and Dongshan communes were established.
In 1965, Hedong commune, Gongba commune and Dongshan commune were merged into Hedong commune.
In 1984, Hedong commune was changed into Hedong township.

The people's government is stationed at the junction of Zhoujia village and majiaxi village.
