Jiulong Town
Jiulong Town of Yingde City is located in the southwest of Yingde City. It is one of the central towns of Yingde City. It is bounded by Xiniu town in the East, Dadong town in the south, Jintan Town in Qingxin County in the West and Huanghua (formerly Mingjing) town in the north. Jiulong Town covers an area of 235.61 square kilometers (in 2017), with a total population of 40406 (in 2017), a planned area of 5 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 28800.
On December 30, 2019, Jiulong Town was selected as one of the first batch of "tourism towns in Guangdong Province".

Jiulong Town is located in the southwest of Yingde City. It is one of the central towns in Yingde City. It connects with Xiniu town in the East, Dadong town in the south, Jintan Town in Qingxin District in the West and Huanghua (formerly Mingjing) town in the north. Jiulong Town covers an area of 235.61 square kilometers (in 2017), with a total population of 40406 (in 2017), a planned area of 5 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 28800. Jiulong Town has a subtropical climate, mainly characterized by less severe cold in winter and less severe heat in summer, mild climate, short frost period, rare ice and snow, annual average temperature of about 21 ℃ and annual rainfall of 1900 mm. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. It is mainly hilly land with limestone geological structure. It is a typical karst landform. The soil is mainly yellow soil, and a few are Niugan soil and black soil.
Historical origin
In the second year of Ming Dynasty (1369 AD), Yingde county was under the jurisdiction of the lower capital of Qing Dynasty. Guangxu 12 years (AD 1886) is under the jurisdiction of Hanguang Zhai sub Bureau. Xuantong three years (AD 1911) renamed Huangzhai township. During the period of the Republic of China, it was the Second District Office of Yingde County, called Huangzhai township. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, in October 1949, it was called Jiulong township. In April 1952, Kowloon, Mingjing town and Yanbei town were divided into the Fourth District of Yingde county at the same time. In September 1958, it was changed into satellite commune. In 1960, Kowloon was separated from Mingjing Town, which was called Jiulong commune. In 1983, it was changed into Jiulong district office. In 1987, it was changed into Jiulong Town. The town government is located in jiulongxu town.

Xinlong village committee
Xinlong village committee is located in the south of Jiulong Town, 10 kilometers away from Jiulong Town, with a total population of 2853. The whole village covers an area of 21.49 square kilometers and 1722.6 mu of arable land. The whole village has 19 villager groups and 17 natural villages. Xinlong village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with Chongshan Junling in the southeast, rolling peaks and vast mountains. It is one of the largest village committees in the town. The villagers have always planted rice and corn as the main crops, and vegetables, melons and fruits, sweet potatoes and other economic crops. Since the 1990s, under the leadership of the village Party branch and the village committee, economic crops such as vegetables have been developed. The villagers have further adjusted the crop layout, promoted the planting of sugar orange and other economic crops, formed a fruit production base, and become the main industry of the villagers' economic income. 85% of the families live in buildings, 90% have televisions and stereos, 65% have telephones, 95% have motorcycles, 7 have cars and cars, and the popularization rate of mobile phones among farmers is 98%.
Xintian village committee
Xintian village committee is located in the middle and north of Jiulong Town, on the east side of Weizhen Town, only 1km away from Weizhen Town, with a total population of 4730 and a cultivated area of 2992 mu. Xintian village is crisscrossed by hills and limestone mountains, mainly hills. The cultivated land is limestone cave field, mostly "shallow foot field", which is fertile and suitable for planting rice, corn, vegetables and other crops. The villagers have always been planting rice, which is one of the larger grain producing areas in Jiulong Town. Villagers should take advantage of local resources, take the market as the guidance, develop "three high" agriculture, and promote the cultivation of vegetables, sugar orange and other economic crops with high economic benefits. It governs 16 natural villages, including Zhengzhai, zhudaotang, xintianwei, Duntou, kuziwei, Zhouwu, guihuayuan, Baowu, yuanlingjiao, Longyan, Xuwu, baishixinwei, Jiuwei, Daluo, Laokeng and Jiazhao.
Quanshui village committee
Quanshui village committee is located in the south of Jiulong Town, about 3.5km away from the town government, with a population of 2035 and a cultivated area of 1252 mu. Its office is located in zhuyuanzi village. Quanshui village committee is a major grain producing area with vast and flat arable land, fertile soil and sufficient water. After the adjustment of agricultural structure, Quanshui village committee planted a large number of crops, sugar orange and other fruits with good effect. It governs 10 natural villages: zhuyuanzi, Hengpai, Gaoba, Jinjiling, Chenwu, jidiling, Liwu, Xuwu, Zhangwu and taogangling.
Maple Village Committee
Fengmu village committee is located in the south of Jiulong Town, about 6km away from the town government. It has a population of 3362 and a cultivated area of 1512 mu. Its office is located in fengmuying village. Fengmu village committee is a major grain producing area with vast and flat arable land, fertile soil and sufficient water. After the adjustment of agricultural structure, Fengmu village committee planted a large number of famous and high-quality fruits, such as crops and sugar orange, with good results. It has jurisdiction over 17 natural villages, including huangwuchong, xiatangwei, fengmuying, kengwei, Shanxia, Qingshuitang, Chitang, zouwu, Baiwu, luzhutan, fengshuxia, Baoan Town, zhongxintang, Huashan, Caichang, Laoya mountain and dryland Pai.
Tangkeng village committee
Tangkeng village committee is located in the middle of Jiulong Town, only 1.5 km away from Weizhen. The total population is 4382, the area is 8.71 square kilometers, and the cultivated area is 3371 mu. It has jurisdiction over 20 villager groups and 21 natural villages. Tangkeng village has convenient transportation and communication. The road from Kowloon to Shaba passes through the hinterland of tangkeng village. The northern part of the village is limestone mountain, and the southeastern part has high hills. The whole village is flat and fertile. Hetou village committee
Hetou village committee is located in the middle of Jiulong Town, with a total population of 2563, a regional area of 6.76 square kilometers and a cultivated area of 2047 mu. It has jurisdiction over 15 villager groups and 10 natural villages. Hetou village has convenient transportation and communication, with cement road leading to the village committee. The whole village is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with limestone mountains in the northeast and hills and mountains in the southwest. The terrain is relatively flat and the land is fertile. The villagers have always been mainly planting rice, vegetables, fruits, sweet potatoes and other economic crops. More than 900 mu of sugar orange is planted in the whole village. Fruits are mainly sold to the Pearl River Delta and even Hunan, Hubei, Beijing, Shandong, Heilongjiang and other places, and good economic benefits have been achieved. Jinzao village committee

Its office is located in Dawei village. Jinzao village committee is a major grain producing area with vast and flat arable land, fertile soil and sufficient water. After the adjustment of agricultural structure, Jinzao village committee planted a large number of famous and high-quality fruits, such as crops and sugar orange, with good results. It governs 22 natural villages: Watian village, Ziling, Xinjian, Zhuwei, Tangbian, zhudaoxia, YOUPU, Pengxiang, xiatangxia, Kepu, Shuibian, Daxiang, Shangxiang, Xiaoxiang, Zhongxiang, Xiaxiang, banxiang, tangling, Zhutian, yatan, Maochang and Qutang.
Kowloon community
Located in the south of Weizhen, the Kowloon community residents committee is the only community in Jiulong Town with a total population of 7373. The area is 10.11 square kilometers and the cultivated land is 2827.8 mu. There is a central primary school located 800 meters to the north of Weizhen. The community is divided into street residents and rural areas. It borders Xintian village in the East, tangkeng village in the south, Dapo village in the West and Tuanjie village in the north. The community has five resident groups, namely Minqiang, Hongguang, Taiping I, Taiping II and xinju, and nine villager groups, including Dakeng, xiapi, jiuweidong, Yankou, liaowu, Xiayan, Likeng, shangkeng and Xiakeng. Jiulong community neighborhood committee is located in Weizhen, the political, economic, cultural and trade center of the town, with convenient transportation, communication and trade. More than 600 mu of sugar oranges are planted in the village. The reservoir and fish pond are used to develop aquaculture. The advantage of residential polder town is used to develop self-management. Taiping Village Committee
Taiping Village Committee is located in the southeast of Jiulong Town, 20 kilometers away from Weizhen town. It is the most remote village committee in Jiulong Town. The total population of the village is 3206, with an area of 27.19 square kilometers. It is the largest village in the town, with a cultivated area of 2115 mu. It has 26 villager groups and 108 natural villages. Taiping village is a typical mountain area of Jiulong Town, surrounded by mountains on all sides, with more mountains and less land. The climate is humid and the soil is deep. It is suitable for bamboo and wood growth. The existing mountain forest area is more than 30000 mu, and bamboo shoots and bamboo shoots are more than 8000 mu. Most of the cultivated land is cave farmland. The villagers have always been planting rice, corn, peanuts, soybeans and other economic crops.
