Jinjie town

Jinjie Town, subordinate to Tiandeng County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Tiandeng County, adjacent to Pingguo County in the East and North, tuokan Township in the South and Jinyuan Township in the West. The administrative area of Jinjie town is 214.39 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 43101 people had registered residence in the town.

In 1729, Jielun tuzhou was renamed Jilun tuzhou. In January 1951, Zhenjie county was changed to Longzhou district. In August 1952, Zhenjie county was abolished and merged with Longming and Xiangdu counties to establish zhendu county. In 1953, the seventh district was set up, belonging to zhendu county. In 1958, Jinjie commune was established, belonging to Tiandeng county. In 1961, Jinjie commune improved the settlement area. In 1968, Jinjie district was reorganized into a commune. In August 1984, Jinjie commune improved Jiezhen. As of June 2020, Jinjie town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 12 administrative villages. In 1729, Jielun tuzhou was renamed Jilun tuzhou.

topographic features

Jinjie town belongs to karst landform. The mountains of Tiannan, pinli, Mengyang in the north and Aile village in the South overlap. It is a dry stone mountain area. The eastern and central parts are Sandy Rock hills. The terrain of Jinjie community and jie'an, tuanle, Longfeng and Minyuan villages in Jinjie river area is relatively flat. The altitude of Donghe depression in Tiannan village is 263 meters, which is the lowest in the county.

Jinjie town belongs to Youjiang water system. Jinjie River enters from jie'an village, from south to north to Minyuan village, sneaks into the underground river, and belongs to Youjiang River Basin at Dale exit of Pingguo County, with a river length of 16.7 km. It is the main river in Jinjie town.
