Changqing Temple
Changqing temple is located in Taiping North Sandao street, Daowai District, also known as GuZi nunnery. It was built by Lu Wenyi's younger sister Lu Wenhui in 1917. The nunnery faces south. It has a main hall, a side hall, a bedroom and a kitchen, covering an area of more than 400 square meters. There are three clay statues in the main hall: Sakyamuni, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Maitreya Buddha. On the first and 15th of the lunar new year, the nunnery door is opened to let the faithful men and women come to burn incense and worship Buddha. Every September 9 is a temple fair.
