Tiancheng Street

Tiancheng street, formerly known as Tiancheng Township, was incorporated into Yueqing City of Zhejiang Province in 2011, and its name was changed to Tiancheng street. Tiancheng street is a Coastal Plain Township in the middle of Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province. It is 8km away from the urban area in the South and 7km away from Hongqiao Town in the West. It is 2km away from Puqi interchange of Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway in the East (yueqingwan viaduct across Butou Village), and 1832 + 2km away from national highway 104 in the West (Chantou Village). Tiancheng township was established in 1949 and abolished in 1956, belonging to Xilian Township and Puqi Township respectively. In 1958, it was the Wanqiao management area of Puqi commune. It was changed into Tiancheng commune in 1961 and was renamed Tiancheng Township in 1984. In 1996, it covers an area of 9.1 square kilometers and has a population of 18000. It has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages including Wanqiao No.1, Wanqiao No.2, Wanqiao No.3, Xitan, wanzehou, wanzeqian, wanzeyu, Butou, fenghuangye, Juguang, jujuxing, MALIANG and Chantou. The township government is stationed in Wanqiao No.2 Village.

At the end of 2008, it covers an area of 9.05 square kilometers and has a population of 20200. Tiancheng J street is a "ton grain town" in history. It has 8160 mu of cultivated land, 4600 mu of sea beach and 2800 mu of breeding area. It focuses on breeding mud clam and razor clam. Wanze fish processing industry is a traditional industry in the township, with an annual processing capacity of more than 5000 tons and an output value of 45 million yuan. Now it has formed the largest fish processing industrial belt in Yueqing Bay.
