Xinhua Town

Xinhua Town of Xuanhan county is located in the depths of Daba Mountain in the northeast of Xuanhan County of Dazhou City, bordering iron town of Wanyuan City, more than 80 kilometers away from Xuanhan County, 106 kilometers away from Dazhou City, and more than 70 kilometers away from Wanyuan city. Its predecessor was the seat of Xinhua District Government in Xuanhan county. In 2003, it merged Heba Township into Xinhua Town and abolished the working committee of Xinhua District.

Xinhua Town is located in the depth of Daba Mountain. During the prosperous Tang Dynasty, it was the main road connecting Chang'an, the ancient capital, to Chongqing, Sichuan.
