Chengchuan town
Chengchuan Town, subordinate to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Jingning County, connecting Siqiao Township in the East, Weirong town in the south, Gangou and Xixiang Township in the west, and Chengguan town in the north. It covers an area of 75 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Cheng Chuan town was 18277.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Guping township of Chengguan town. In September 1958, it was incorporated into Minhe commune. In 1959, it was changed into Chengguan commune. In October 1964, it was renamed Chengchuan commune. In November 1983, it was changed to Chengchuan township. In 1984, the five villagers' committees of Nanguan, Xincheng, Dongguan, Xiguan and Xiamen were assigned to Chengguan Town, and the township government moved from Nanguan to Jinsi village. In 2016, the township was replaced by township. As of June 2020, Chengchuan town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Jinsi village.
In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Chengchuan Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above designated size.

Chengchuan town belongs to Xiaoqing River system. Hulu River enters from the north of Ganhe village, from north to south, through Ganhe village, zuitou village, wumiao village and Dazhai village, and then into Weirong, with a river length of 20 kilometers.

The main natural disasters in Chengchuan town are drought, hail, frost, earthquake and so on. The most serious hail disaster occurred at 21:30 on July 19, 2008. The diameter of hail was 6 cm and the thickness of accumulation was 30-60 cm. The disaster involved 3 villages, 17 villager groups, 667 households and 3050 people. Fruit trees, corn, millet and other crops were basically dead.
