Zhaoxian town

Zhaoxian Town, belonging to Linyou County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Linyou county. It borders cuimu town and jiuchenggong town in the East, yaojiagou town in Fengxiang County in the south, Liangting town in the West and Zhangba town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 19.8 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 18.8 kilometers, with a total area of 219.18 square kilometers.

By June 2020, Zhaoxian town has nine administrative villages. As of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 10109. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Zhaoxian town reached 98.88 million yuan, the industrial output value was 3 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached more than 67 million yuan.

In October 1949, Zhaoxian district was established, with six townships under its jurisdiction: Ji, Zhulin, Getou temple, yaojiayuan, Zhangba and Tiantang.

In September 1958, Zhaoxian commune was established. In December of the same year, it was subordinate to Linyou commune and set up Zhaoxian management area.

In February 1961, it was changed into Zhaoxian commune, which has jurisdiction over eight production teams.

In March 1967, it was changed into Yonghong commune.

In August 1969, Xianzhao commune was restored.

In October 1984, Zhaoxian township was established, with jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.

In July 1997, Zhaoxian town was established.

In December 2001, Danshu, getousi, Nanwu, anziping and guojiahe were merged into Zhaoxian Town, with 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

The highest peak of the mountain is manwanliang, which is located in Yongfeng Village, Zhaoxian Town, with an altitude of 1556 meters. The lowest exit of Anping river is located in anziping village, Zhaoxian Town, with an altitude of 1458 meters.
