Cai Jiangxiang
Caijiang Township, subordinate to Ningdu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northwest of Ningdu County, adjacent to Huangpi town in the northeast and Xingjiang township of Xingguo County in the West and south. Caijiang Township, covering an area of 84.05 square kilometers, governs 7 administrative villages and 1 community, with a total of 114 villager groups and 257 natural villages. At the end of 2018, Cai Jiang had 15 thousand registered residence population.

Historical evolution
Caijiang began in the middle of Tang Dynasty. The surname Cai got its name by building a village beside the stream. It belonged to Huaide Township in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It belonged to Caijiang Township before the founding of the people's Republic of China.
In August 1949, it belonged to Huangpi District; in November 1961, it was set up as a district to expand the community and Caijiang commune; in June 1984, it was set up as Caijiang township.

As of October 2019, Caijiang village has jurisdiction over one community and seven administrative villages: oubeiping community, Caijiang village, baimenqian village, shanghufang village, Luokeng village, Shuangxi village, Dakeng village and Yuanyuan village. Caijiang village is the seat of the township government.

Caijiang township is located in the northwest of Ningdu County, 64 kilometers away from Meijiang Town, adjacent to Huangpi town in the northeast and Xingjiang township of Xingguo County in the West and south. It is about 11.2 kilometers wide from east to west, 11.55 kilometers long from south to north, and covers an area of 84.05 square kilometers.

Caijiang Township belongs to Yushan Mountain range, the terrain is high in the South and low in the north, inclining to the northeast. The landform is mainly mountainous, hilly and valley. The altitude of mountains is generally about 900 meters, and the average altitude of the whole township is 450 meters. The altitude of hills ranges from 400 to 500 meters, and the relative height is generally about 200 meters. There are niugudong and Baohua mountains with an altitude of more than 1000 meters in the township. The highest peak is niugudong with an altitude of 1075 meters, which is located at the junction of Dakeng village and Xingguo County; the lowest is the back of the Chi river with an altitude of 260 meters.

Caijiang township is high in mountains and water-cooled. There are 9 small and large streams in the territory, which are Y-shaped. After Shuangxi village flows together, it is called Caijiang river. Caijiang river runs through 6 villages in the township, with a total length of about 12 kilometers and annual runoff of 86 million cubic meters.

The road from Ningdu county to caijiangxu town is a class IV cement road. Except for the road from Weizhen town to Yuanyuan village, all the roads have been hardened. Caijiang township is only 80 kilometers away from Xingguo railway station, which has become a convenient and necessary place for towns in the north of Ningdu to get to Xingguo railway station.
