Xipo town

Xipo Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Liangdang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Liangdang county. It is adjacent to Feng County in Shaanxi Province in the East, Taishan Township in the south, Xinghua Township in the west, Yangdian town and zhanerxiang town in the southwest and northwest, and Feng County in Shaanxi Province in the north. The total administrative area is 82.96 square kilometers.

In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was called Wuyu Township, which was still in use until 1949; in June 2003, the township was removed and the town was built. By the end of 2018, the population of West Slope registered residence was 3824. As of June 2020, Xipo town has one community and 13 administrative villages.

History of construction

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was called Wuyu township (Wu Yu, the imperial censor of Tang Dynasty, grew up here), and it was still used until 1949.

In 1949, Zhulin township was set up, and the township government moved to Zhulin Township, belonging to the third district.

In 1958, after communization, Xipo commune was established and later renamed Yonghong commune.

In October 1970, it was renamed Xipo commune.

In December 1983, it was changed to Xipo township.

In June 2003, the township was removed to build a town.

In April 2004, Xipo community was established, and the administrative division of Xipo town became 1 community and 13 administrative villages.
