Qiaotou town

Baode County governs the town. Qiaotou commune was established in 1958 and the town was established in 1984. Located in the middle of the north of the county, 16 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 97.9 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 16068 (2017). Shenmu Shuozhou railway and Xinzhou Baode highway pass through.

It has jurisdiction over 23 village committees, namely Qiaotou, Baijiazhuang, xialiuqi, Zaolin, jianhulong, wujialiang, jingdaogou, sangyuan, quanjiaping, yangjiamao, Liujiawa, Hewan, shilingwan, Shiling, Tanyugou, nansunjialong, cuijiajia, sujiali, hanjiata, xueta, Nanpo, haojiali and Jiangou. Township enterprises have business, coal mining, coking, quarrying, catering services. The agriculture is mainly potato, millet and millet.
