Xiaojin Yi township is located in the southeast of the county, 57 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 34.87 square kilometers and has a population of 2851 (2017). It has jurisdiction over three village committees: Xiaojin, diaofang and Yangqiao. Xiaojin township was established in 1957, changed to commune in 1973, and resumed in 1984. In the same year, it was renamed Xiaojin Yi township.
