The town of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is located in the northwest of Akesu County, east of the county and Wensu, and south of the county. It is adjacent to the Savoy farm. In 1958, when Wensu was merged into Aksu County, it was the eighth District of Aksu. In the same year, Tumushuke commune was established.
