Dayang town
Dayang Town, which belongs to the Tianshui Hui Autonomous County of Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County, east of Zhangjiachuan Town, south of Qingshui County, Pine Township, West Lian County, Qinan County, Longshan Town, North Longshan Town, with an area of 55.1 square kilometers, and in 2018, 25917 registered residence population.
Before 1949, most of them were under the jurisdiction of Qingshui County, and a few were under the jurisdiction of Qin'an County. In July 1953, after the establishment of Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous Region, Dayang township was established. In September 1958, Dayang commune was established. In December 2003, 8 villages in Quzi Township were merged into Dayang township. In January 2017, the township was replaced by township. As of June 2020, Dayang town has one community and 23 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
Before 1949, most of them were under the jurisdiction of Qingshui County, and a few were under the jurisdiction of Qin'an County.
In July 1953, after the establishment of Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous Region, Dayang township was established.
In September 1958, Dayang commune was established.
In December 1961, it was divided into three communes: Quzi commune, Zhongzhuang commune and Dayang commune.
In February 1965, Quzi and Zhongzhuang were merged into Dayang commune.
In December 1983, it was changed to Dayang township.
In December 2003, 8 villages in Quzi Township were merged into Dayang township.
In January 2017, the township was replaced by township.
