Machang Town, subordinate to Qingxian County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Qingxian County, with Jinghai County of Tianjin in the East, Jinniu Town and Qingzhou town in the south, Liuhe Town in the west across the south canal, machangjian River and state-owned Qingxian farm in the north and Jinghai County, with a total area of 126.86 square kilometers.
In thirty-six years (1947), the town of Ma Chang belonged to the stream area and Liu Shiyin Tun district. In December 1995, Chen Wei Tun and Ma Chang were merged into Ma Chang town. As of the end of 2018, there were 45236 registered residence in Ma Chang town; as at June 2020, Ma Chang town had 24 administrative villages under the jurisdiction; the Ma Chang town people's government was located on the eastern side of the victory line (about 50 meters).

History of construction
In 1947, Machang town was divided into Liuhe District and liushiyintun district.
In March 1953, it was divided into 9 townships, namely Machang, wangweitun, sunguantun, jiuzhangtun, wangshengwutun, yangguandian, chenkuitun, yizhuangzi and liushiyintun, belonging to Liuhe District and daduzhuang district.
In 1957, nine townships were merged into two townships, wangweitun and chenkuitun.
In September 1958, the two townships merged to build Qingfeng commune.
In November 1958, it belongs to Jinghai County.
In June 1961, it returned to Qingxian County and was divided into Machang and chenkuitun communes.
In March 1984, it was changed to Machang Township and chenqutun Township respectively.
In December 1995, chenquetun Township and Machang Township were merged into Machang town.
