Shengrenjian town

Shengrenjian town belongs to Pinglu County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. Shengrenjian town is the largest town in Pinglu, which was merged by Chengguan Town, Nancun Town and Qinglan town in April 2001. It is the seat of Pinglu county Party committee and county government. It is the political, economic and cultural center of the county. It is the hometown of shengrenfu, the Prime Minister of Shang Dynasty, and the South Gate of Shanxi Province. The town has jurisdiction over 48 administrative villages, 4 County Community neighborhood committees and 51895 permanent residents (2017). The total land area is 250.15 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 78000 mu.

Historical evolution

In 1957, the construction of Sanmenxia water control project made the old county town of Pinglu county become a flooded area. The county government moved to the west of shengrenjian village in 1958, and then established shengrenjian people's commune in the people's commune movement at that time. In 1962, it changed its name to Hongqi commune, which has 30 production teams under its jurisdiction. in 1972, the division was narrowed down and 13 production brigades in the north were separated. Nancun commune (later called Nancun township) was newly established. Hongqi commune was renamed Chengguan commune and 17 production brigades were under its jurisdiction. Later, it was renamed Chengguan town. In 2001, the original Chengguan Town, Nancun Township and Qinglan Township were merged into shengrenjian town.

Shengshengjian town government is located at 34 ° 50 ′ 12 ″ N and 111 ° 13 ′ 02 ″ e, in the southwest of Shanxi Province, with Zhongtiao Mountain in the north, Yellow River in the south, Sanmen in the East and Zhangdian Town, Butuan town and old city in the west, covering a total area of 296 square kilometers. Four kilometers south of the town government is the Yellow River. On the other side of the Yellow River is the main urban area of Sanmenxia. Maojindu
