Xindi Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yumin County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Yumin County, bordering aleteng yimule Township in the East, baluke mountain in the South and Tuoli County in the south, halabra town and halabra Township in the west, and aleteng yimule Township and halabra Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 491.83 square kilometers.
Xindi village was built in 1940, Xindi commune was renamed in 1978, and Xindi township was renamed in 1984. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in Xin Di township was 6328. In 2019, Xindi Township governs 13 administrative villages.
At the end of 2011, Xindi Township had 27 commercial outlets and 54 employees. In 2018, Xindi township has 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1940, Xindi village was built.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, a reform through labor farm was set up in Xindi.
In 1962, the reform through labor farm was relocated.
In August 1965, the satellite commune was established.
In 1968, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune.
In 1978, it was renamed Xindi commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Xindi township.
