Garden Town
Huayuan Town, a Lindian town in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Lindian County, and is bordered by Sijiqing and the East. It is adjacent to the south of the rangelu district and Saertu District of Daqing city. The west is at the junction of fourth camps of the Spark farm in Ranghulu District, Daqing, and north is connected to Lindian town. In 2018, the area was 488.77 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 33406.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it was located in Dongxiang of Lindian Administrative Bureau. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (June 1947), it belonged to the second district. In September 1981, it was renamed garden commune. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In September 2008, the township changed to town. As of October 2019, Huayuan town has 11 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 23 industrial enterprises in Huayuan Town, including one above scale and 94 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
