In 1953, Zhangjiazhuang township was built. In 1961, Zhangjiazhuang commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Zhangjiazhuang township. As of June 2020, Zhangjiazhuang township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Zhangjiazhuang village.

Yongsheng Pavilion, located in Zhangjiazhuang village, was built in the early Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in modern times. The pavilion seat is made of brick and stone. There are four bright columns. There are color paintings on the column beams and rafters. A plaque of "Sheng Shi Yuan Yin" is hung on the beam of the pavilion.
Zhangye temple, located in the northeast of xiluobao village, Zhangjiazhuang Township, Dingxing County, was built in the late Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in 1923 with a construction area of 35.78 square meters. The architectural form is the ridge of buwa flower on the top of the hard mountain, with complete kisses and beasts. The temple seat faces north, three rooms wide and two questions deep. The existing stone stele is made of blue stone, and the stele Yang is "the inscription of the New Dragon King Temple". It was repaired in 1993. In August 1984, Zhangye temple was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Dingxing county. The scope of protection is based on the existing building wall, extending 20 meters to the East, South, West and north respectively.
