Mafang town
Mafang town is subordinate to Yongshou County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. Mafang town is located in the middle of Yongshou county. Mafang village, where the town government is located, is 11 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Changning town and Nanfang town of Liquan County in the East, Fengyang town of Qian County in the south, fenghougou and Jianjun street in the southwest, and Huaishan village of Quzi town in the north. It has a total area of 148.7 square kilometers and a permanent population of 3990 (2017).
In 1621-1627, Peng village was set up in Mafang town. In 1938, Duma township was set up, and yujiagong belonged to Duma township. In June 1984, it was renamed Mafang Township, yujiagong Township and Duma Township during the institutional reform. In April 1998, it was renamed Mafang town. In 2011, Duma Township and yujiagong Township were abolished and yujiagong town was merged. On June 28, 2015, yujiagong town was abolished and merged into Mafang town. By 2019, Mafang town has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Mafang village.
In 2017, there were 29 enterprises in Mafang Town, with 595 employees, including one industrial enterprise.

topographic features
The original Mafang town belongs to Liangyuan gully area, with Huaishan and Gaoling mountains in the north. The whole terrain extends from north to southeast along yongshouliang. Due to long-term soil erosion and serious erosion, the whole area is divided into four Liangyuan by three north-south valleys. There are many furrows in the north and flat in the south, with an altitude of 970-1400m.
The former yujiagong town belongs to Liangyuan gully area. Sancha River cuts the whole Township into two areas: Dongshan and Xiyuan. The east slope from Wufeng mountain to the west, and the west slope from Yingli mountain to the south, forming the terrain characteristics of high in Northeast and low in southwest. The altitude is 900-1100 meters.
Yuanduma Township belongs to Liangyuan gully region. Yongshouliang in the northwest extends to the south, forming a high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. In the south, there are six hills protruding from the tableland. The altitude is 1000-1407m.
