They are Qiji Southwest Village, Qiji Northeast Village, Qiji northwest village, Qiji southeast village, zhanglizhuang village, Xiji East Village, Xiji West Village, Houlu village, Qianlu village, beichahe village, zhongchahe village, xilongwantou village, kangjiazhuang Village, beizhangyuan village, zhongzhangyuan village, nanzhangyuan village, maozibu village, Beizhu village, Daou village Village, Xiaoou village, qingzhongbu village, zhongzhongbu village, zhangwangzhuang village, Quanzhuang village, xiejiatun village, Balizhuang village, sangjiabu village, fengxiangzhuang village, Tuwan Southwest Village, Tuwan northwest village, Tuwan Dajie village, Tuwan Dongjie village, Tuwan Shibo village and qijiabu village. At the end of 2012, it was withdrawn by the government and incorporated into yifengdian town in the north.
General situation

It is located in the northwest of Jimo District, Qingdao City, on the East Bank of Dagu River. It has jurisdiction over 34 administrative villages with a population of 35100 and an area of 65.86 square kilometers. The economy is dominated by agriculture, and the high-efficiency agriculture has diversified development. In 2001, the planting area of vegetables and melons reached more than 10000 mu, with a total output of 52900 tons, which was sold to Shanghai, Nanjing and other places; the town built 14 breeding communities and 70 breeding farms; it has the largest live pig trading market in northern China, with an annual trading of more than 600000 pigs, covering 11 provinces such as Henan, Anhui and more than 140 counties (cities), killing more than 1400 pigs per day, which was confirmed by the Ministry of agriculture It is designated as the "national fresh agricultural products center wholesale market of vegetable basket project".
Qiji town is located in the west of Jimo district. Dagu River borders Pingdu County and Jiaozhou City in the west, yifengdian Township and taizhizhuang Township in the north, Pudong Township in the East, Lancun town and Nanquan town in the south. At the end of 2012, seven level town and yifengdian town merged into yifengdian town. It covers an area of 69.06 square kilometers. The town government is located in the East seven levels. 28 natural villages are divided into 34 administrative villages. There are 35829 residents (18131 males and 17698 females), including 773 non-agricultural residents. The town has 55245 mu of arable land. The sowing and planting areas are 43649 mu of grain field, 7850 mu of economic crop field (mainly peanut), 3173 mu of vegetable and melon field, 1666 mu of orchard (mainly apple, followed by pear, peach and grape), 3000 mu of forest land and 1500 mu of mulberry field. The famous local product is purple garlic. The effective irrigation area of water conservancy projects along the river and well is 35500 mu. The total power of agricultural machinery is 12861 kW, 228 tractors, 22 automobiles and 375 draught animals. The town run enterprises mainly include anchor chain, Yuangang, cold rolled strip, wrapping paper, red brick, bearing inner and outer rings, sportswear and other projects and commercial supply and marketing. Village run enterprises mainly include anchor chain, trademark, red brick, wooden shoe heel, malt processing, bird cage, brush, embroidery, can, rubber products, etc. The main items of individual business include commerce, bamboo weaving, willow weaving, animal husbandry, embroidery, sewing, etc. The total annual economic income was 41.118 million yuan, including 16.61 million yuan from agriculture (including 22834 tons of grain), 10.022 million yuan from industry, 5.547 million yuan from animal husbandry, 2.23 million yuan from sidelines, 2.216 million yuan from transportation, 2.17 million yuan from construction and 1.44 million yuan from commercial catering. Farmers have 550 kg of grain per capita and 722 yuan of economic income per capita. The cultural, educational and health institutions include one junior middle school run by the county, two joint junior middle schools and 18 primary schools; one town health center and 34 village clinics; and one film theater is set up in the town government.
The origin of town name
It is said that before the Ming Dynasty, there was an ancient pagoda with seven storeys. The seventh level pagoda originated from the Buddhist term "seventh level pagoda". In the Yongle period of Ming Dynasty (1402-1424 AD), people surnamed Zhang and Ding moved here to establish a village. Because they were in the east of the pagoda, they were named "dongqiji". The name of the town originated from the name of the village.
Development overview
In 2006, the town had 34 administrative villages with a total population of 34957, including 17570 males and 17387 females. The total area is 78 square kilometers, and the cultivated area is 3560 hectares. The town's GDP reached 857 million yuan, an increase of 20% over the previous year at comparable prices. Among them, the added value of primary, secondary and tertiary industries reached 36.75 million yuan, 240 million yuan and 580 million yuan respectively, up 1%, 30% and 30% respectively over the previous year. The total grain output was 34000 tons; the total peanut output was 2445 tons, an increase of 10%; the total vegetable and melon output was 19800 tons, an increase of 28%; the total fruit output was 2051 tons, an increase of 18%. At the end of the year, 660 large livestock were on hand, 5000 pigs were on hand at the end of the year and 9000 pigs were on hand within the year, 730 sheep were on hand at the end of the year, 250000 poultry were on hand at the end of the year and 920000 were on hand within the year. The output of fresh water products is 28 tons. The total power of agricultural machinery is 50000 kW. The effective irrigation area of farmland was 2900 hectares, an increase of 4%.

There are 7 industrial enterprises above Designated Size, with total industrial output value (current price) of 491 million yuan, industrial sales output value (current price) of 489 million yuan, total fixed assets of 61.58 million yuan, total assets of 104 million yuan, total liabilities of 29.45 million yuan, total profits of 11 million yuan and total profits and taxes of 12.4 million yuan. There are 35 industrial enterprises under quota, with total industrial output value (current price) of 489 million yuan, sales revenue of 471 million yuan, tax paid of 1.2 million yuan, total profit of 9.02 million yuan, total assets of 59.24 million yuan, total liabilities of 27.19 million yuan and paid in capital of 8.6 million yuan.
In 2006, there were three foreign-funded enterprises in the town, with the actual utilization of foreign capital of 100000 US dollars. Six domestic funded enterprises were introduced, with a total of 41, and the actual utilization of domestic capital was 50 million yuan. Foreign exchange earned by export is 270000 US dollars.
In 2006, there were 1 junior high school and 7 primary schools with 3354 students, 12 kindergartens and 1009 children. There are 1 health center and 26 medical rooms (stations). The natural growth rate of population is 3.5 ‰, and the family planning rate is 99.51%. One hundred households have 82 telephones, with 56.9% of cable TV households.
