Longhua town is a town under the jurisdiction of Boluo County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the Midwest of Boluo County, Huizhou City, with Luofu Mountain in the north, Dongjiang River in the south, Taiping mountain in the East and Changning town in the West. It is 30 kilometers away from Luoyang Town, with a town area of 58.18 square kilometers (2017).
Longhua town has 10 administrative villages and 1 community with a total population of 26730 (in 2017). The main ethnic groups are Han nationality, and there are 13 ethnic groups including Zhuang, Miao, Tujia and Yao.
In 2013, Longhua town achieved a GDP of 1.23 billion yuan, an increase of 18.8% over 2012.
Evolution of organizational system
From the 19th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (214) to the 4th year of Jingming in the Northern Wei Dynasty (503), it belongs to Nanhai county.
Sui kaihuang 11 years (591 years), waste Liang Huajun set up along the state (now Huizhou), is along the state. In the first year of Daye (605) of Sui Dynasty, Longchuan County was set up instead of Xunzhou.
In the fifth year of Wude (622), Longchuan County was abolished and changed into Xunzhou. Zhenguan first year (627), is under the jurisdiction of Lingnan road along the state. In 917, Xunzhou was renamed Zhenzhou, belonging to Zhenzhou of Lingnan East Road.
In 1021, Zhenzhou was renamed Huizhou, belonging to Huizhou on Guangnan East Road. In 1120, Huizhou was renamed BOLUO County, belonging to BOLUO County of Guangnan road. In 1132, BOLUO county was renamed Huizhou County, belonging to Huizhou county.
In 1271, Huizhou county was renamed Huizhou Road, belonging to Huizhou road.
In 1369, Huizhou road was renamed Huizhou Prefecture, belonging to Huizhou Prefecture.
In the ninth year of Hongwu (1376), it belonged to Huizhou government of Guangdong Province.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), there was no Huizhou government.

Longhua Dagu was successfully declared as the intangible cultural heritage of Boluo County in 2010. The performance of gongs and drums in the village has a history of more than 200 years.
