Liulin town
Liulin town belongs to Chenggu County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Chenggu County, bounded by Wenchuan River in the East, Hanjiang River in the south, Honggou River in the west, adjacent to Pu town of Hantai District, and cuijiashan town in the north. The total area is 39.70 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
It was originally named liulinpu. According to Li Daoyuan's notes to the water classic, it is said that in the east of the Han river there is changliudu. Changliudu is the name of the village The ancient Changliu, liulinpu, is an ancient post station. The town is named after liulinpu.
Liulin originally belonged to Nanzheng (today's Hantai District).
In 1958, the State Council adjusted the boundary of some neighboring counties, with Honggou River in the West as the boundary. Four townships of Liulin, Wuhua, caosi and Gucheng in Nanzheng, and 14 villages of weijiawan, zhoujialing and qinglongsi in Nanzheng were assigned to Chenggu County, and Liulin management area of Wenchuan district was set up.
In 1961, he became Liulin commune.
In 1966, it was renamed "Bayi" commune.
In 1972, it was renamed Liulin commune.
In 1983, it was changed to Liulin township.
