Mianshan town is located at the south end of Jiexiu City, about 2 kilometers away from the urban area of Jiexiu City. Mianshan town was formed in 2001 by the merger of Xijintun Township, Dajin Township and Qinshu Township, with an area of 158.5 square kilometers and a total population of 32000. It is located in the Fen River Valley, the branch of Taiyue Mountain in the south, the Fen River in the west, and the plain in the north.
